In September of 2018 we launched our very first Theatre Study Program for youth.  The training focuses on movement, acting, vocal, improv, scene study, monologues and performance.  Each term ends in a production that is open to the public.  This twice a week class will help boost your child's confidence as they learn how to develop their own method of acting.

If a particular schedule does not work for you we can discuss moving your child up or down a level. .

Location:  Our programs run out of the CASO Station @ 750 Talbot Street, St. Thomas and the Ignite Centre at 745 Talbot Street, St Thomas.

FALL SESSION

Program Fee - $459.99 plus HST

How To Register - To pay, simply click on the registration fee on the right or you can e-transfer to info@railcitytheatre.com.  You will receive a confirmation of enrollment within 48 hours.  The next step is to submit the registration form via email to info@railcitytheatre.com. Each of the groups below will have their available spaces listed.  If it is past the deadline and you still see available spaces contact us to discuss it further.  If you are unable to pay in full, the $50.00 deposit option (also on the right hand side) will hold your space until September 1st, 2026 when all funds are due or payment plan arrangements have been made.

Flex Programs - If you child is right on the edge of group you can opt to move them up or down.  This is useful if your child has more experience or you are attempting to keep siblings in the same class.  Grades 6 and 9 can move either up or down. 

JUNIOR (Grades 2 to 6) - current open spots (20)

Starts September 12th, 2026 and will go twice a week for a 13 week term
Classes are Tuesday at 6pm - 8pm and Saturdays 12pm - 2pm

INTERMEDIATE  (Grades 7 to 9) - current open spots (20)

Starts September 12th, 2026 and will go twice a week for a 13 week term
Classes are Wednesday at 6pm - 8pm and Saturdays 2pm - 4pm

SENIOR  (Grades 10,11,12, Gap Year)  - current open spots (20)

Starts, September 12th, 2026 and will go twice a week for a 13 week term
Classes are Thursday at 6pm-8pm and Saturdays 4pm-6pm

 Our Acting for Adults program returns for its fourth session this fall.  This class focuses on acting, improv, scene study and monologue work, and ends with a workshop style performance for friends and family.

AFA - Beginner - current open spots (12)
Beginner is perfect for someone just starting out. 
Starts September 14th, 2026 and will go once a week for a 13 week term
Classes are Monday from 6pm - 9pm

AFA - Intermediate - current open spots (10)
Intermediate is designed for people with a basic understanding of performance

Classes are Tuesday from 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Geared towards professionals and or experienced Actors looking to hone their craft
